FLYING FASTER,/
LONGER, HIGHER./
For the first tractions we will look for very gentle winds with which to familiarize ourselves with our wingsurf. This will allow us a better control over the basic maneuvers of changing hands and placing our kite in the flag or flame position.
It looks like a new sport but it is the result of combining the best of gliding activities. Handling the wingsurf only with our hands will allow us a quick control over it. Start first on land, then in water with a SUP board and then we can make the leap to the exciting world of FOIL.
Before starting, we will always hold the wingsurf from its leading edge to any of our wrists using a LEASH. With this we prevent it from flying out of our control.
The most widespread wingsurf model is the inflated type or LEI (Leadindg Edge Inflatable). This inflatable frame makes it very light in its use and prevents our kite from sinking in case of falling into the water.
We are very fortunate to live in a world that changes every time we open and close our eyes. And sliding sports are no stranger to new sports and their fashions. Hawaii is the epicenter, once again, of this new WINGSURF revolution that has come to stay on our beaches forever. Enjoy the flight!
The introduction of FOIL has also been decisive in the evolution of the WINGSURF, although this kite has many uses. It does not replace any gliding discipline but it does bring the simplicity of the great emotions on the water.
